TCB SNYD2 SCREEN re-remake!

I have reworked my old TCB screen from the Swedish New Year Demo 2, to include some more accurate sprite movement, more accurate starfields, the correct original scrolltext and also changed the scroller to the correct type - previously I had used a twist scroller instead!

Then just to enhance it further, I've used Frutbunns' CRT shader, with AWSMs SC1224 overlay, and iOS sound support!

(Phew! Enjoy!)

Bastards International BBS Intro from the Amiga

A quick Amiga remake here.... the Bastards International "A BBS Intro" screen.
Simple, effective, with some nice GFX!

(Also using my new Amiga Decrunch lib!) :-)

Amiga Workbench 3.1 Shell Decruncher .JS library

I decided to make a new Amiga Decrunch library today, to show off some alternatives rather than just Workbench 1.3, so I used the Workbench 3.1 as a base, and made 5 new alternatives to choose from.

1) Plain Shell, and then colour bars decrunching (shell disappears)
2) Plain Shell, and then black/white narrow bars over the shell elements
3) Plain Shell, and then colour bars behind the shell
4) A judder effect on the shell, on top of colour bars
5) A judder effect on the shell, without colour bars

The sample screen HERE shows how they work, and obviously feel free to use it if you like it!

SAE Weapon Demo revisited!

Using the new variation of Dave 'Frutbunn' Egglestons' CRT shader, I've revamped an old favourite.... the SAE Weapon Demo from the Amiga..... I know you've seen it before, but here it is with WEBGL CRT effect! Enjoy! :-)smile emoticonE

Although iOS sound is encoded, for some reason the WEBGL overlay stops it from working! I will investigate when I am able to, & update!

Daft Punk - Get Lucky

Another C64 inspired screen here.... a couple of years ago KompositKrut made an awesome 8580 SID version of Daft Punks' Get Lucky - which I really wanted to use on a CODEF screen, but sadly the TinyR'SID Javascript engine didn't really support 8580, and the tune sounded awful and out of tune!
Luckily over Christmas, Jurgen Wothke was hard at work, and made a new version of TinyR'SID, which offered new envelope generation, meaning more accurate emulation... and the 8580 SID tunes seem to be much better - at least Get Lucky sounded as it should!

Although there was no actual demoscreen using the music on the C64, on his YouTube channel, KompositKrut envisioned what a demo COULD look like.... so borrowing some of his ideas... here is my "Get Lucky" screen! I hope you like it!

(This version uses the Frutbunn CRT shader for that "old school" C64 effect!)

TRSI Intro #1 from the C64!

My first remake of the year, and it was time to go back to the C64!
A really nice intro by TRSI, featuring a cool logo and lots of FLD movements...

Enjoy! http://codef.namwollem.co.uk/TRSI_intro1.html
