Anarchy intro from the Amiga!

Well, it seems I was able to make time for another remake today! :-)

Another cool one, with a great Romeo Knight tune... this little intro from the Amiga is by Anarchy!

As always.... enjoy!

Booga Boo by Hokuto Force C64

It's been a quiet couple of weeks, while I have been working on several new things at once, and I kind of missed the quick 'tro remake, so I did one! :-)

Back to the C64 for the Hokuto Force Cracktro for Booga Boo!

Simple, clean and cool! Enjoy!

Dunderpatrullen - Keygeneration

After a mental few weeks of almost a remake a day, I took a well needed break!

Although the website for the release of the new album by Retro-scene band Dunderpatrullen, Keygeneration, does feature a mini CODEF old-school intro by yours truly!

You can see it here....   http://codef.namwollem.co.uk/keygeneration.html

Angels/Genesis/Defjam - Amiga Cracktro for Football Simulation

Back to the Amiga for today's 10 minute Cracktro Remake! I took a very simple intro with no music :-( as I didn't have much time!

Angels/Genesis/Defjam, and their quick cracktro for Football Simulation (?) .....

Nice and effective little screen - enjoy!

The -TCB TRACKER- Demo by AN COOL - remake!

I found a tune recently on a .MOD archive, and for a good few days I was scratching my head why it sounded familiar - until it popped into my head this morning, it was the tune from the TCB TRACKER demo written by An COOL on the ST/STE back in 1990!

I managed to find a copy of the demo, and was able to remake it - the only thing is that I used the Amiga original .MOD (which is better quality playback) - but mainly because as far as I am aware there is no way of replaying TCB TRACKER MODs in .JS!

Still, a nice bit of nostalgia! :-)

Desire - BouncyBouncy Demo from the C64

Another remake - this time from the C64!

Desire's BouncyBouncy demo - coded by the same guy who did my recent Avatar C64 screen - DAISON!

Hope you like it - it's not a 100% accurate copy, but I tried to get the COS/SIN movements to be as close as possible!

http://codef.namwollem.co.uk/bouncybouncy.html

UPDATE: (23/07/2014)

A few changes made:

1) I have sped up all of the bounce movements, as they were all WAY too slow!
2) I have changed the start positions of the three sections, so they look more accurate compared to my first version
3) I have changed something quite important.... I had the two scroll bars moving to the same SIN calc, which was wrong, and have now calculated it seperately using different values... which means the lower scroll is more independent and looks much closer to the original! 4) I've also changed the "decrunch" colour pallette, so it uses the correct 16 C64 RGB values, and not the 9 random colours I'd chosen!

Delight - Lords of The Realm (Amiga) Cracktro remake!

Seeing as I'd already remade the Atari ST "copy" of this intro a few months back, I thought I'd have a go at the Amiga original! Slightly different effects, and some fiddly timing/fade issues to overcome, but the end result looks pretty cool!

This is my remake of Delight's cracktro for Lords of The Realm!

As always, enjoy!

CLOCK IDEA!

I saw a line of code in a screen earlier today...

var time = Date.now() * 0.0005;

..so I looked into how it worked, and then made this "Clock" screen - hope you like!

SKIDROW - ILYAD+

I managed to finish THIS remake today... another Amiga one, this time from Skid Row, a cracktro for a number of different games, but this one I used as a base for the remake was for "Ilyad+ Trainer"!
