Clockwiser by Fairlight

Time for a return to one of the usual sources for my remake ideas, the Amiga! This time it's an old school cracktro by Fairlight, for the game Clockwiser!

A great tune by Jochen Hippel and a really nice logo.

Enjoy this classic remake from the Amiga days!

Digital Insanity KEYGEN remake

After the last remake of a Windows Keygen, I thought I'd have a go at another one!

Here is my latest remake - the Windows Keygen for SONY Sound Forge 9.0 by Digital Insanity.

It's all pretty much there, with the exception of the actual crack of course! ;-)

The only thing not 100% right is the plasma, which although close, isn't as good a match to the original as I'd like - but I'll keep tweaking as and when I get time to see if I can get it better!

Enjoy!

Orion windows KEYGEN for NERO Burning ROM remake

I saw a link to a Youtube video which showed a really nice little KEYGEN by Orion for the NERO Burning ROM. I'm not sure how old it is, but it used some REALLY nice music, and I thought it would be a nice little 10 minute remake - so I remade it!

A little bit of creative license and using the CODEF mouse tracker, and the webXMP player by Juergen Wothke, some canvas interraction - and it even runs on iOS!

Enjoy!

Gauntlet Legends Trainer by MUPS - PSX

I thought as it'd been a few weeks since my last CODEF remake, I thought I'd have a look through some intros/trainers etc. on Youtube, and I found this cool PSX Trainer / PAL-NTSC selector  by MUPS! It was for the game Gauntlet Legends.

What got my attention to begin with was the cool remix of the Enigma Phenomena main theme (Hyberbased by Firefox/TIP) - done by 16 Beat from Razor 1911, and once I started to listen to the music, I thought "you know what, I've found my next remake"... so here it is!

Mange Cailloux +2 cracktro by TRSI from the Amstrad CPC

I thought it was about time for a new remake, this time from a less common source (well, for me anyway!) - so I found this cool little intro from 2015 by TRSI on the Amstrad CPC!

Nice .YM ripped tune, nice rasters, and cool font - with inbuilt CRT effect!

I hope you like the Mange Cailloux +2 cracktro by TRSI - remember those CPC days! :-)

Amazing Tunes II by SAE

Something new to announce! I have spend a good amount of time recently at weekends and evenings working away on another new CODEF screen! I'd like to present my (almost!) CODEF version (I won't call it a "remake" - because it isn't perfect - but it's close!) of the awesomeness that is Amazing Tunes II by Amiga legends, Share & Enjoy!
I've spend a LOT of time on this, and I hope you all enjoy the end result!

Jungle Strike by Traders Dream

I had time for one more remake tonight, so it was time to go back to the Amiga! :-)
A cool 3D dot sphere, a great tune and a nice text effect was used on this intro by Traders Dream for a series of cracktros, the one I chose was for Jungle Strike!

I hope you like my remake of this cool screen...

Donald Duck cracktro by Quartex on GBA

Seeing as we have a Lockdown on, I took advantage to make yet another cracktro remake, from another console, from another group.... tonights' "donor" cracktro was Donald Duck by Quartex for the Gameboy Advance!

Happy little tune from Mel O'dee and a cool text effect!

I hope you like it!

The Might Druids packdisk remake!

Another remake last night! This time I left the consoles behind, and went back to the old favourite, the Commodore Amiga! I remember back in the 90s I had a cool collection of packdisks by The Mighty Druids, and although I couldn't find the exact one I remembered, I found one very close - so here it is! Enjoy!

Konami Arcade Classics cracked by Paradox

...and here we are with another cracktro remake! Another console cracktro today, and it's the Konami Arcade Classics by Paradox for the Sony Playstation. When you see the text you'll notice a seplling mistake - yes this IS supposed to be there... it's authentic to the original! :-)

Mister Nutz cracktro from SNES by Elitendo

I fancied another console crack, as I tend to do mainly ST and Amiga screens, so I thought I'd try another console - so found this cool little number from the SNES. Cracking group Elitendos' cracktro for 'Mister Nutz'. Enjoy!

Spyro 3 cracktro by Paradox for the PS1

After enjoying the remake of the Paradox screen last week, I thought it was time for another one... so I had it all ready to go, only for my NAS drive to fail and lose everything! noooooooo! Luckily I was able to restore backups and only lost the script file for the screen, luckily all the graphics were cached, so I was able to fairly quickly recreate it (again) in CODEF, and here it is... my remake of the Paradox Spyro 3 - Year of the Dragon cracktro from the Playstation. Enjoy! :-)

Featuring an absolute classic tune by Estrayk and some cool GFX - I hope you like it!

Jackie Chan cracktro by Paradox on the PSX

I saw a cool cracktro on a YouTube link today, and I thought it was a good "victim" for a quick CODEF remake! As usual about 90% of the time was taken ripping the font (!) and about 10% of the time getting the rest of the code done!

It's the awesome Paradox from the Sony Playstation and their cracktro for Jackie Chan (USA).

I hope you enjoy this simple, but really nice cracktro remake!

Alien Syndrome Cracktro by SYNC

Last night I completed another remake, the Alien Syndrome cracktro by SYNC from the Atari ST!

Another great cracktro from those old retro days of getting games, and usually enjoying the crack intro more than the actual game itself! :-)

Enjoy!

Delta Force intro - Atari ST

Over the weekend I was able to put together another quick remake - nothing too exotic, just a cool into I remembered from the old Atari ST days from the Delta Force cracking team! Here's one of their old intros, remade for your enjoyment in CODEF and HTML5.

The Exceptions Amiga Demo from the Atari ST

Several years ago I converted the TEX Overscan screen from their Amiga Demo to CODEF, but never got round to converting the whole thing! So over the last couple of evenings I have completed the missing section, and am pleased to present my remake of The Amiga Demo by The Exceptions (TEX).

Use the UP and DOWN cursor keys to select which song to play, and press ENTER to play that song. Pressing O takes you to the "Overscan" screen, and this can be exited by pressing ENTER again to return to The Amiga Demo.

Enjoy!

AV-8B Harrier Assault Cracktro by The Replicants on the Atari ST

Strangely enough, during the lockdown I find more time for CODEF than normal, so decided to do a quick 45 minute remake - and today's subject was a reworking of an intro I'd done a few years ago, but with some new rasters, text, logo and music. Also updated it for the "new" Chrome "feature" which blocks webaudio unless you interface with the canvas beforehand!

Here is my remake of The Replicants Atari ST cracktro for AV-8B Harrier Assault - enjoy!

Ball Sprite Record Attempt by Effect

Yet another Effect Demo Screen
I went trawling for some new remake material, and was pointed towards to rather cool sprite record demo by Effect! Remember the Leonard of Oxygene ball sprite record of over 300 ballsprites on an ST from about 15 yrs ago?? Well, Effect had a go at the record - although they only managed 93 - it had a cool remix soundtrack, so thought it was worthy of a remake!
Enjoy! :-)

Another Effect Demo Screen

I found another Effect Atari ST screen which uses a similar core as the previous screen I converted to CODEF, with a cool 3D element, so I thought I'd tackle it - and here is the result.

The "beefect" screen as submitted to the Silly Venture 2018 Intro Compo!

Enjoy!

Union Demo Menu Remix

I'm having some fun with these remix tunes at the moment, so I'm now using the Union Demo Main Menu theme ('Alloy Run' by Jeroen Tel - converted to the ST by Jochen Hippel AKA Mad Max) remixed by ACC:Xess on a CODEF screen which is celebrating that great demo that is, The Union Demo by The Union on the Atari ST!

This time we have some great GFX ripped from the original, the great music, and a cool 3D cube VU meter to go with the MP3 music! Enjoy everyone!

Big Sprite Remix

After the success of my last screen, using the cool ACC:Xess remix of Jochen Hippels tunes, I decided to use another remix! This time, The TCB Big Sprite gets the treatment. Just a quick remix of the original screen, with a cool EQ overlay and the MP3 playback instead of the original .YM tune.

Thanks again to ACC:Xess for allowing me to use this great tune, which seems to give the screen a whole new lease of life! Enjoy!

Cuddly Demos Remix

Hey everyone! Welcome to 2020, and I know it's been a loooooonng time since my last CODEF update - don't worry, I HAVE been working on something, but it's taking a long time to get working as well as I want it to..... so I've taken a little break from it and decided to make something for a bit of fun!

I found on YouTube a Swedish band called ACC:Xess who has played a concert with their remix of several classic Atari ST tunes, one of which was in the Menu Music from the incredible The Cuddly Demos!

I liked it so much, I got an MP3 of it, and make a little remix of my own - featuring the intro of The Cuddly Demos, with a little EQ meter thrown in. I hope you like it.
